Dr. Shalini Singh,
Assistant Professor.
She obtained graduation
from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur and post-graduation in Radiotherapy
and Senior Residency from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical
Sciences, Lucknow. Thereafter, she worked as Lecturer / Assistant Professor
at King George Medical University, Lucknow since 2002. Later on again she
joined this institute in faculty position in 2004. She has both international
and national publications and was won best paper awards in radiation therapy.
Her major areas of interest revolve around chemo radiation protocols in head
and neck malignancies, Breast cancer, brain tumors & Gynaecological cancer,
conformal radiation therapy & brachytherapy. Besides she has interest
in various tumor biology aspects pertaining to translational research.

Dr. Sushma Agrawal,
Assistant Professor.
She obtained
graduation from MGIMS, Wardha and post-graduation in Radiotherapy from BHU,
Varanasi. She has done Senior Residency from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute
of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Thereafter, she worked as Junior Consultant
at Mahavir Cancer Santhan, Patna and then joined as faculty at Indira Gandhi
Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna in 2001. Later on again she joined this
institute in faculty position in 2004. She has been awarded ICRETT fellowship
in 2002 in stereotactic radiotherapy. She has both International and National
publications. His areas of interest are gastrointestinal, paediatric radiation
oncology, breast cancer, lung cancer, head & neck cancer, brachytherapy
and 3-D conformal radiotherapy.

Mr. Karthick Raj,
Medical Physicist.
A graduate in physics
and postgraduate in Medical Physics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore,
Tamilnadu. He joined as a Medical Physicist at SGPGI in January 2005. He
is a member of the AMPI and associate member in IOP. He has attended several
workshops and seminars in medical physics. His research interest lie in high-energy
photon/ electron/ asymmetric beam dosimetry, 3D Conformal Radiation therapy,
treatment planning, film dosimetry, networking and computerization

Mr. Senthil Kumar,
Medical Physicist.
A graduate
in physics awarded by Madras University and his postgraduate in Medical Physics
from Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu. Thereafter he worked as a
Medical Physicist cum RSO at Sushruta Cancer Therapy and Research Institute
in Karim nagar, Andhra Pradesh for about three years from 1998 to 2001.
Following a short stint between December 2001 to February 2005 as a Medical
Physicist cum RSO at G.S.L Trust Cancer Hospitals and Research Centre, Rajahmundry,
Andhra Pradesh, joined as Medical Physicist at SGPGI since February, 2005.
He is a member of the AMPI, has attended several conferences and seminars
in medical physics. His research interests lie in high-energy photon and electron
beam Dosimetry, IMRT, 3D treatment planning, gel Dosimetry and HDR Brachytherapy

Mr. Anil Kumar Maurya,
Medical Physicist.
He has his graduation
and post-graduation in Physics (X-Rays) from Allahabad University,
Allahabad. Following a brief stint as Trainee at Regional Cancer Centre,
Kamala Nehru Memorial Hospital, Allahabad, he passed Post M. Sc. Diploma
in Radiological Physics from BARC, Mumbai in September 2000. He started his
professional carrier as Medical Physicist at M. D. Oswal Cancer Treatment
& Research Foundation, Ludhiana. Subsequently he worked as Senior Medical
Physicist & Radiological Safety Officer at SRTR Medical College, Ambejogai,
Distt. - Beed and BSR Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, Bhilai
during the period 2001 to 2003. He joined back M. D. Oswal Cancer Treatment
& Research Foundation, Ludhiana as Senior Medical Physicist in August
2003 and later joined SGPGI in February 2005. He is a life member of AMPI,
IARP, ISRP & AROI. He has around five publications in national journals
& has presented papers at international and national conferences. His
research interests include Brachytherapy, Radiation Dosimetry, Radiobiology,
Treatment Planning System, Quality Assurance in Radiotherapy and Radiological
Safety & Protection.
